VG Medical Completes Acceptance and Delivery of Digital Operating Room System at Qingyuan County People's Hospital

A County Hospital Moves to a Fully Digital Surgical Platform

Qingyuan County People's Hospital is a public hospital serving Qingyuan County and the surrounding communities of Lishui City, Zhejiang Province. With the opening of its newly built campus, the surgical department needed an OR environment capable of consolidating imaging, patient information, and teaching feeds into a single workspace — rather than a room-by-room assembly of standalone devices.

VG Medical was selected to supply the digital operating room system for the project, covering system design coordination, equipment supply, installation, commissioning, integration testing, and clinical training.

What the Integrated OR System Delivers

Four capabilities define the delivered system:

Multi-source imaging integration. Surgical video from endoscopic, microscopic, and room-level cameras is routed and switched through a single platform, giving the surgical team a consistent, high-resolution view of the procedure on the primary display.

In-procedure information access. Integrated with the hospital's HIS and PACS, the system lets clinicians retrieve patient records, imaging studies, and prior reports directly inside the OR — without leaving the sterile field or breaking scrub.

Live teaching and broadcast. Procedures can be transmitted in real time to seminar rooms, lecture halls, or remote sites, supporting resident training, multidisciplinary case discussion, and remote consultation.

Recording and case documentation. Full-procedure video and audio can be captured and archived, creating a reusable record for case review, quality control, and clinical teaching.

All functions are operated from a single touch interface at the surgical field, shortening setup time and keeping attention on the patient rather than on the equipment.
